Gardaí in Clare are warning residents to take extra steps to ensure their home isn’t targetted by criminals this Christmas.
40% of winter burglaries across the country take place between the hours of 5pm and 11pm, with jewellery and cash among the most common articles stolen.
Gardaí are urging people to ensure doors and windows are secure and that your alarm is set when you’re leaving the house.
