Clare Farmers Becoming Increasingly Concerned That Brexit Deal Won’t Be Reached

The Clare County Chair of the ICMSA says farmers are becoming increasingly concerned that a Brexit deal won’t be reached.

Martin McMahon is responding to comments from the Foreign Affairs Minister, Simon Coveney, who has warned there will be serious consequences for Ireland if there’s no Brexit breakthrough this week.

Talks will resume in Brussels this evening, with both sides said to be far apart on difficult issues concerning fair competition and fishing.
