It’s claimed hard pressed Clare Families are set to be hit even further by a hike in school transport fees due to come into effect this September.
The Education Minister is proposing a 78 percent rise for the junior cycle second level students who take the bus and a 28 per cent hike for Senior classes.

The increased charges are also likely to hit national school pupils as well.
