The Clare EV Owner’s Club believes a newly announced scrappage scheme will be oversubscribed.
Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien has announced a new policy, which will make grants of up to €8,500 available for sucessful applicants.

The €10m programme will see €5,000 made available for motorists wishing to scrap vehicles which are 13 years or older and a further €3,500 will be made available through the Electric Vehicle Purchase Grant.
