Clare Disability Campaigner Doubtful €10 Million Funding Injection Will Be Enough

A Clare disability rights campaigner is doubting whether the government’s funding supports for people with disabilities during COVID-19 will go far enough.

€10 million is being made available to support the resumption of day services and enhanced home support services for disability service users.

It comes after concerns were raised about the cutting of services for the elderly and disabled since the beginning of the pandemic.
