Council Says All Public Toilet Facilities In Clare To Be Open This Weekend

Clare County Council says all public toilet facilities across the county will be open this Bank Holiday weekend.

It follows concerns raised when large crowds flocked to coastal areas of Clare during last week’s fine weather.

Parts of North Clare and West Clare had issues with both litter and a lack of available toilet facilities where outdoor dining and drinking was taking place.

The Council is further reminding people in this county to maintain their efforts to suppress COVID-19 this weekend.

CEO of the local authority, Pat Dowling, says all public toilets in Clare will be closely monitored over the next few days.
