Clare County Council has revealed that it is is spending 11 million euro a year on loan repayments.

The local authority has revealed full details of its loanbook to elected representatives.
In all, the Council says that it is making annual repayments of over 11 million euro on 182 loans.
As of last September, the outstanding value of these loans stood at 101.5 million.
The vast majority of the loans in question relate to unspecified housing projects, though at least 1 million euro was outstanding on 23 separate loans as of last September.
The highest amounts relate to the developments of the Council's Ennis headquarters and the Cliffs of Moher.
