Communities across Clare are being urged to don themselves in festive lights, jumpers and sparkle and share in a nationwide moment of hope.
Pieta is holding it’s “Light Up The Darkness” appeal today, as the suicide and self-harm charity prepares for one of it’s busiest periods of the year.

Pieta delivered 13,789 therapy hours across Munster last year and more than 300 people are expected to reach out to the charity on Christmas Day alone, a day when many people look for support.
Over 80% of Pieta’s services funded by public donations and Clare-based Crisis Helpline Therapist, Jo says now more than ever, it’s important for communities to come together and support each other.
