Clare-Based Care Chief Warns ‘Whole Health System’ Could Collapse Without More Carers

The Clare-based CEO of the National Community Care Network is warning ‘the whole system could collapse’ this winter without the addition of more carers.

It comes amid fresh frustration that many carers outside of the HSE have not yet received the €1,000 pandemic bonus payment.

Barefield-based Chief Executive of the National Community Care Network, Fiacre Hensey, says without further supports for carers, the entire health service could suffer.
