Clare artists say an increase in Arts Council funding in Budget 2021 is a positive start to saving the sector.
The government has announced €50 million in extra support for the industry, which has been heavily impacted by the onset of COVID-19.
There are further plans to increase support for national cultural institutions and the audio visual sector.
