Clare Aim For All Ireland Final Outing

Thousands of Clare hurling fans are making the pilgrimage to Croke Park today, hoping to back the Banner to a place in this year’s All Ireland Hurling Final.

Only Limerick stand in the way of a first final appearance for the Banner in 11 years, and hopes are high that Davy Fitzgerald’s men will continue their good form and set up a meeting with Cork.

All roads lead to GAA HQ for the Clare fans lucky to be heading along to today’s game, while more will be cheering them on at home and abroad.

One of those who will be tuning from afar today is Mayor of Clare Counillor Joe Arkins, who is part of the county delegation attending IrishFest in Milwualkee and has sent a good luck message to the Clare team.
