Clare ICA Joins Efforts To Make Medical Scrubs For Healthcare Workers

The Clare branch of the Irish Countrywomen’s Association is appealing for volunteers to come on board and help them make scrubs for Ireland’s healthcare workers.

The ‘Sew Scrubs’ initiative has been started by costume designer Sinéad Lawlor, to ensure that there is as much personal protective equipment on hand during the COVID-19 pandemic as possible.

The ICA has joined up in the efforts and is encouraging all of its branches to play their part in helping to produce the medical gowns.
