Change How Budgets Are Put Together To Benefit Clare – Garvey

Clare’s Green Party Senator says a change in the way Ireland puts budgets together could lead to greater investment in this county from government.

The Greens have called for various social indicators to be taken into account in future economic decisions, including balanced regional development across the country.

The programme for government has indicated the National Economic Plan – due to be published shortly – will promote the regions and support rural economies.
