Chair Of Ennis Branch Of Labour Party Believes Catholic Church Should Cover Cost Of Same Sex Education

The Chair of the Ennis branch of the Labour Party believes the Catholic Church should organise same sex education as a separate entity for those who choose to avail of it.

The party is urging the government to cease same sex schools within the next 15 years and discontinue what it calls “outdated” gender discrimination in school admissions.

Seamus Ryan believes it’s “bizarre” that 90% of schools are still owned by the Catholic Church, despite the fact that there is a state run education system in this country.
