Cystic Fibrosis campaigners will protest outside the Dáil today – over the delay in securing approval for a life changing drug.
The Minister for Health says he hopes that negotiations between the HSE and Vertex Pharmaceuticals – which makes the drug Orkambi – can be concluded in a matter of weeks.

Talks have been ongoing between both sides in an effort to lower the price of the drug.
Simon Harris says progress has been made and the process is now entering a critical phase.
But CF campaigner Jillian McNulty says sufferers have been waiting long enough.
