The case of a disabled Clare woman who’s been withdrawn from the employment support scheme has been raised in the Dáil.
As part of the programme, employers can avail of wage subsidy programmes or workplace adaption grants.

In this instance, however, it’s understood the woman was promoted to a senior management role with a new organisation, however the entitlements of her scheme did not carry over from her previous job.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Cooney says it’s a disgraceful situation which must be urgently addressed.
