A campaign group representing residents of a Clare apartment complex with fire safety defects claims outbreaks are a constant fear.
It comes as the Government has revealed plans to introduce a €2.5 billion redress scheme for owners of apartments which weren’t built in line with regulations during the Celtic Tiger.

Residents of Brú na Sionna in Shannon, which is made up of 240 units, are among the 100,000 people nationwide who could benefit from the initiative.
Spokesperson for the “Not Our Fault” Campaign Sam Doran says many are “terrified” on a regular basis.
