The Bishop of Killaloe has defended the dioceses’ use of AI to generate an image of Jesus and the four evangelists.
The imagery has been used in a number of recent posts to celebrate feast days and illustrate daily gospel readings.

The move has reportedly sparked some backlash from parishioners over the depiction of sacred figures.
Bishop Fintan Monahan insists it’s an effective tool to help the church that’s informed by strict guidelines.
