Calls For Supports For Small and Medium Businesses

There are calls for Small and Medium businesses to be prioritised as a standalone sector as Ireland begins its reopening of society and businesses.

The SME Recovery Ireland plan has been established, bringing together business representative groups and small business owners from a cross-section of industry.

They’re looking for fifteen billion euro of recovery supports, but argue this is needed to enable the sector to continue to employ nearly two-thirds of the national workforce.
