Calls For Social Housing Shortage For People With Disabilities In Clare To Be Addressed

There are mounting calls for a shortage of social housing for people with disabilities in Clare and elsewhere to be urgently addressed.

It comes as the Irish Wheelchair Association launches its ‘Think Ahead Think Housing’ campaign to work with local authorities nationwide to deliver social housing for wheelchair-bound residents.

It’s believed more than 5,000 people with disabilities are currently waiting for social housing in Ireland.
