Calls have been made for significant and continued investment in Shannon Airport to drive development in the region.
Shannon recorded a strong start to 2019, following six years of growth, but after the global grounding of the Boeing Max Jet, 120,000 seats have been lost this year, at a cost of 60 million euro to the regional economy.
