An East Clare Councillor says it’s imperative that more money is invested in hedge cutting.
Fine Gael’s Pat Burke says a number of hedges need to be cut back on regional roads in East Clare, and that this work needs to be done by Clare County Council.

This week’s local authority meeting heard that vehicles, particularly trucks and tractors, are seeing mirrors damaged as a result of overgrown hedges, particularly at a height.
The Council’s Roads section is to scrutinize the issue, but Councillor Burke says the current situation is unsatisfactory.
