Calls have been made for urgent action to be taken to improve the condition of local roads in Newmarket-On-Fergus.

Councillor Pat McMahon claims repair works are badly needed but insists nothing can happen until Irish Water carry out upgrades to the water network.
He says he's been assured on many occasions that this will happen, but is frustrated that no date has been set for the work to commence.
