Calls have been made for the establishment of a strategic workshop on the future economic development of North and West Clare, bringing together relevant stakeholders and local councillors.

It’s hoped the workshop would identify key investments, policy interventions and planning priorities to secure the long-term sustainability, resilience and prosperity of North and West Clare.
Lisdoonvarna Fine Gael Councillor Joe Garrihy says the region can leverage its tourism numbers to attract further international investment.
