There’s a call for action on an Ennis billboard said to be “lagging behind” the rest of the town.
Clarecastle Sinn Féin Councillor Tommy Guilfoyle has asked Ennis Municipal District to enter into a partnership with the owner of the building in O’Connell Square behind the O’Connell monument bearing a disused sign on its side wall.

Ennis MD has committed to reviewing the matter with the property owner and examining the options for the space.
Councillor Guilfoyle believes upgrading it to an LED billboard would serve both the owner and Clare County Council.
