Almost 550 jobs have been created in Clare through the special VAT rate for the hospitality sector.

New research by the Restaurants Association of Ireland says the annual wage bill in the Accommodation & Food Services sector now stands at over 82 million euro here.
The organisation now wants this to be protected, and say it's vital the industry's 9 per cent VAT rate is maintained in next month's Budget.
