Ennis’ kidney clinic has had more than 700 attendances in its first two years in operation.
It first opened to patients in August 2015 in an effort to improve local access to essential services.

Up until then, those who required specialist care were forced to travel to Limerick or Galway for treatment.
Chair of the Clare branch of the Irish Kidney Association Peggy Eustace says it’s made a huge difference to their lives – and they’d like to see services extended.
