Talks aimed at resolving the Bus Eireann dispute have broken down overnight, without agreement.
Some progress was made – but the NBRU says agencies outside the talks were putting pressure on proceedings.
At 3 o’clock this afternoon both sides will meet at the Labour Court, hoping for a speedy judgement on the issue.
Bus Eireann is reportedly losing half a million euro every day that workers remain on strike.
Regional Officer with Unite Willie Quigley hopes that the Labour Court recommendation will be enough to avert any prospect of the company going into examinership.
