Uisce Éireann has warned that repairs to a burst water mains in Shannon could cause supply disruptions in surrounding areas.
The works are being carried out today until 6:45pm and are expected to result in water supply disruptions in Shannon Industrial Estate, the wider Shannon region and potentially surrounding areas.

The water utility has advised locals to allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
