Her legacy continues to be felt, with the HSE revealing last month that the uptake rate for the vaccination in Clare now sits at 90%, while it’s 80% nationally – that figure was just 50% when Laura began her campaign.
Her brother Kevin says it’s been a difficult 12 months since her passing but that they’re incredibly proud of what she achieved.
