Clare’s Junior Minister has hit out at allegations that Apple has abandoned plans for a data centre in Athenry.
Fine Gael’s Pat Breen has been responding to Green Party leader Eamon Ryan, who raised concern that the company has not committed to starting work.
The €850 million centre in Galway is now free to go ahead after the Court of Appeal rejected a submission by two local objectors, but no plans have yet been announced.
