Boil Water Notice Reissued to Killaloe Homes And Businesses

Homes and Businesses served by the Killaloe Water Supply are being reminded to boil their water before use.

Uisce Eireann has reissued the boil water notice to the East Clare town almost six weeks since the first notice was implemented due to operational issues affecting chlorination at the plant.

All consumers in Craglea, Ballyvally, Knockyclovaun, Shantraud, Creeveroe, Killestry, Cloonfadda, Lackenbaun, Ballycorney, Garraunboy and surrounding areas are advised to boil and cool their water before use until further notice.

The utility in partnership with Clare County Council insists measures are progressing to lift the notice as quickly and as safely as possible.
