Access to two of Clare’s most popular beaches has been made easier for those with mobility issues with the introduction of two beach wheelchairs.
Clare County Council has bought the specially designed chairs which will be available free of charge at the beaches at Kilkee and Lahinch this July and August.

They have much wider wheels than normal to allow the chairs to travel along the sand and will be held at Lahinch Seaworld and Kilkee Waterworld.
