Bad Planning During The Boom Blamed For High Commercial Vacancy Rates In Clare

Bad planning in the boom years are being blamed for the high rate of unoccupied commercial units in some Clare towns.

Kilrush has the third highest commercial vacancy rate in the country at 23 per cent according to figures from GeoDirectory, while in Shannon and Ennis, the figure stands at 22 and 18 per cent.
