The Minister for Transport says a new Chairperson of Shannon Group will be appointed later this month.
The position has been vacant for over a year since Rose Hynes’ tenure in the role ended in August 2020.
It’s understood five candidates have been interviewed for the role in line with the Public Appointments Service, and a preferred candidate is to be announced within a fortnight.
