No Plans To Expand Services From Shannon Says Aer Lingus Chief

The Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Aer Lingus has confirmed the airline has no plans to expand services at Shannon Airport.

The company’s Shannon to Boston route resumed operations yesterday, becoming the first US flight in two years to depart from the regional airport.

Aer Lingus’ JFK route recommences today, meaning the airline will have fourteen weekly flights leaving Shannon for the states.

But on a visit to Shannon Airport, Donal Moriarty says their focus is on re-establishing their existing services post-pandemic and not increasing their offering at the Midwest airport.
