Aviation, construction and engineering jobs are driving employment growth in Clare.
Job creation by Enterprise Ireland-backed companies has risen by 4 percent in the county in the past year – with over 3,700 people here now employed in these firms.
However, Clare falls behind its Mid-West counterparts in this regard – Limerick saw growth of 9 percent, while a 7 percent increase was experienced in Tipperary.
