There’s been a 8% jump in property prices in Clare in the past year.
Figures from the Irish Independent’s annual How Much Is Your House Worth survey reveal that the average price of a three bed semi-detached house in Ennis is now €245,000, up from €230,000 12 months ago.
That’s expected to increase by a further 3% and go past the €250,000 barrier during the year ahead.

Irish Independent Property Editor Mark Keenan is attributed the rise to the severe lack of houses being built.
