Gardaí are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Ennis in which a woman was threatened with a borken bottle.

The incident on Francis street occured at five past four last Wednesday afternoon at shop.
The man demanded cash however he fled the scene without obtaining any.
Sgt Joe Downey has described it as a frightening orderal for the staff members involved he's asking anyone with information to come forward.
