Gardaí have issued an appeal for information in relation to a crash that has left a young West Clareman fighting for his life in hospital.
23-year-old Colum Callinan suffered serious injuries in the incident which occured on the R484 road between Kilmihil and Knockalough at around 8:30 yesterday morning.

He was the only occupant of the car which was in the single vehicle collision, and Gardaí are looking for anyone who can assist in their investigations to come forward.
A candlelit vigil for Colum Callinan and his family was held at Kilmihil GAA grounds last night, while the community there is unstandably in shock.
