Close to €4 million in Government funding has been provided to Clare schools for free schoolbooks.
The Department of Education has announced €3.79 million for primary and post-primary schools in this county under the Schoolbooks Scheme.

A total of 13,023 primary school children across 111 schools in Clare will benefit from €1.04 million in funding.
At post-primary level, 9,661 pupils in 18 schools are being supported to the tune of €2.74 million.
