Close to 100,000 euro worth of Government funding has been announced for Biodiversity Projects in Clare.
It’s part of a 2.8 million euro allocation announced by Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Electoral Reform, Malcolm Noonan today for 233 community projects across the country through the Local Biodiversity Action Fund.
The fund was created in 2018 to assist local authorities in the implementation of actions in support of biodiversity, with just over €8.6m granted to local authorities since the scheme launched.
Twelve Clare projects have received funding to the tune of €96,837, with the highest single allocation of €21,505 going Knocknahila Biodiversity Project.
