Almost 2 million Euro Announced For Clare Roads

Nearly two million euro is to be spent on the maintenance and management of Clare’s national roads network next year.

Clare’s funding from the National Roads Authority, which is seperate to the allocations for regional and local roads, has seen an annual increase of 350 thousand euro.

Projects planned for 2014 include a 600,000 euro upgrade of the surface of the N67 north of Doonbeg, 120,000 euro allocation towards pavement and minor works at Blakes Corner in Ennistymon, and 500,000 euro for bridge rehabilitation works around the county.
