Aer Lingus Temporarily Cancels Shannon To Boston Service In Run Up To Christmas

Aer Lingus has temporarily cancelled it’s Shannon to Boston service in the run up to Christmas.

In a statement to Clare FM, the airline says it’s had to make a number of tactical cancellations to its US operations between 11th and 17th December, due to aircraft availability in this period.

Any impacted customers have been re-accommodated onto alternative flights and will reach their US destinations.

Aer Lingus says it plans to operate flights over the Christmas period as scheduled and while flights in both directions are impacted, it’s only Boston for the relevant period.
