Aer Lingus says it anticipates further cancellations on its Heathrow route with Shannon Airport before October.
Representatives have been appearing before an Oireachtas committee this morning where the issue has been raised.
The airline cancelled one of the three daily flights between Shannon and Heathrow for the entirety of last week due to passenger caps at the London facility.

Aer Lingus Chief Operations Officer Peter O’ Neill’s told Oireachtas Transport Committee Chair Kieran O’ Donnell that the airline foresees similar instances occurring before the Autumn.
