A Clare-based member of Active Retirement Ireland is urging people to stay strong and obey COVID-19 restrictions into the New Year.
While the beginning of vaccinations has given many people hope, it will likely be late into the year before the entire country is vaccinated.
Older people who have been among the hardest hit throughout the pandemic, and among those most susceptible to the virus, will be in the earliest groups to receive the jabs.
