A major €200,000 development at the Active Kilrush Sports Complex is being officially opened this afternoon.
The project involved the development of new integrated playing fields including a maximum sized GAA pitch as well as two soccer pitches.

Active Kilrush also includes all weather pitch, a playground, running track and on site changing rooms, which are scheduled to be upgraded in the near future.
Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council Tom McNamara will officially unveil the sport and recreation facility in Kilrush at 3 o’clock this afternoon.
