‘Action Needed’ Say Participants Ahead Of Midwest Hospital Protest

Clare members of a group protesting today against overcrowding at the region’s main hospital say ‘action is now needed’ on the issue.

Crowds are beginning to gather in large numbers as members of the Midwest Hospitals Campaign march on Limerick today.

The protest, along with 13 others at different locations across the country, is intended to highlight capacity issues in the health service as a whole, including at University Hospital Limerick and the Midwest region.
