83 On Trolleys At UHL

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital remains high heading into the weekend.

The latest trolleywatch analysis from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows there were 83 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 45 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure is three dozen more than the next busiest facility; University Hospital Galway.
