57 On Trolleys At UHL

UHL is the most overcrowded hospital in the country as the week begins.

57 patients are on trolleys in Dooradoyle as of this morning according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

35 of these people are in the emergency department, with the other 22 in overflow areas of wards.



University Hospital Galway is the next busiest facility today, where 47 patients are waiting for a bed.
